VWM: Voice Wave Mountain: Interactive/Drawing Intervention: Drawing process project based on voice interactivity, Lorena Mal, 2010-2011
Site specific project for Centro Cultural Border, Mexico city border.com.mx
App developed in Processing processing.org
The analogy between a sound wave and a roller coaster is built in real time, activating with the voice a generative drawing. The voice is analyzed by a software developed in Processing. The public was invited to draw with their voice only during the opening day. The voice data is printed to be drawn using pencil over the wall. A second of voice is equal to a centimeter on the wall. The screen allows to see 4 seconds of voice. The drawing over the wall allows to visualize 4 continuous hours of voice.
